About
Chris is the Director of Fabrication Lead with Sidewalk Labs, helping to bring ideas into the physical realm with prototypes and experiments.
Previously, Chris spent 11 years working for the America’s Cup team Oracle Racing, helping create the boats that won the 33rd and 34th cups. For the past year he’s worked on special projects with Google and Google X.
Growing up in a small town in the Pacific Northwest that was obsessed with wooden boats left Chris with a deep appreciation of materials and building processes. From there, the University of Washington and stints living in New Zealand and Spain helped create a worldview for varied urban and rural environments.
