Chris Yoon
About
Chris Yoon is an Associate at OMA’s New York Office. She is currently serving as project manager on the Greenpoint Landing residential development with Brookfield, and is responsible for overseeing OMA’s role as Design Architect for this large scale development. She has extensive experience working on New York residential planning and development ranging from luxury town-homes to large multi-family condo and rental developments.
Chris was project manager for 121 East 22nd Street is OMA’s first residential complex in Manhattan just completed in 2019. Her diverse experience also includes serving as project architect for other OMA’s projects in the Americas including Post Houston, transforming a former United States Postal Service in a new commercial and cultural anchor on the northwest edge of Downtown Houston.
Prior to joining OMA, she has collaborated on the development of market-rate and affordable housing in New York City with Dunn Development Corp and L+M Development. Chris has also served as project architect on a number of residential multi-family buildings with Curtis + Ginsberg Architects. Prior to moving to New York, Chris worked as a building envelope consultant in San Francisco, providing a range of services from structural engineering, façade and envelope consultation, and forensic analysis. She is a registered architect in New York State and LEED accredited professional.
