Darrin VonStein is an architectural historian specializing in 19th and 20th century American architecture and historic preservation. He has written and lectured on the theatres, skyscrapers and educational buildings of Francis H. Kimball and is currently preparing a monograph on the subject. He is originally from Des Moines, Iowa but has lived in Brooklyn, NY for the last 20 years.
