About
Fuquan Collins oversees programs including: Workforce Development, Community Outreach, Supplier diversity and Youth Engagement across all of Turner’s business units. Collins joined Turner Construction Company in 2005 as a Field Engineer and worked on projects such as the redevelopment of Lincoln Center. In 2014 he moved into the role of Procurement Agent. In 2017, he became a Chief Procurement Agent responsible for procuring contracts on the 66 Hudson Boulevard project a US$1.4 billion high-rise commercial tower in Hudson Yards. In 2019 he was promoted to Procurement Manager of the New York Business Unit’s Interior division. In this role he oversaw the Procurement process for the business unit’s US$750 million annual volume, securing over 1,200 subcontracts.    
 
Before joining Turner, Collins worked as a Construction Administrator for Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners (BBB). While at BBB, Collins worked on projects such as: Columbia University School and Faculty Housing, Stony Brook University’s Humanities Building, and the Pierpont Morgan Library.  
 
Fuquan received a bachelor’s degree in technical management from DeVry University, an associate’s degree in construction technology from The New York City College of Technology, and a Certificate in Construction Management from New York University. He has also received a certificate in diversity equity and inclusion from Cornell University and a certificate in business analytics from MIT.
