About
Gi Young Jeong is an associate professor and the director of Timber Frame Building Safety Center at Chonnam National University in Gwangju City, South Korea. He has worked in the timber engineering industry for the past 10 years. Throughout his career, he has been involved in many different projects related to design manual development for timber frame buildings. Currently, he is working to develop a design manual for high-rise Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) buildings so that architecture firms and contractors can use timber material to build high rise complexes.
