About
Hakan is currently a Member of the Board of Renaissance Construction Russia. He has been actively working in the construction industry since 1990, which is a long period of tenure, half of which he has spent with Renaissance Construction in various executive roles in Russia.
Hakan is holding a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul.
He has commenced his professional carrier as a construction engineer and then continued his carrier at different positions in Turkey, Azerbaijan and Russia, working for Bovis Lend Lease and Renaissance Construction. Since 2008, Hakan has directed a dozen of projects with a total value exceeding 3.7 billion USD, among which Lakhta Center occupies a unique position with a 462 m high skyscraper. Lakhta Center is the highest building in Europe and has been announced by CTBUH in 2020 a five-time winner, including the category of the Best Tall Building, 400 m and above.
