Hongtao Bo is the winner of Young Architect Award of The Architectural Society of China, Shanghai's Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Architect Award and RIBA China Architect 100. He serves as a director of The Architectural Society of China, a member of the Professional Practice Committee of Architects Regional Council Asia, an executive member of the Building Reconstruction and Urban Renewal Committee of The Architectural Society of China, a member of Architectural Culture Committee, a member of Three-dimensional City and Composite Architecture Committee, a director of the Architectural Society of Shanghai, and a member of Architectural Creation Academic Department of the Architectural Society of Shanghai. He also serves as an off-campus master tutor at Southeast University, Chongqing University and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
