About
Jim Shea is the Head of Program Execution for JPMorgan Chase’s development of its New York City worldwide headquarters and a member of the JPMC Global Real Estate leadership team. JPMC’s multi-year headquarters project represents the world’s largest intentional demolition; once complete, it will serve as the site for JPMorgan Chase’s New York commercial office footprint.
Jim joined JPMorgan Chase in 2018 from Multiplex Construction, where he was based in the United Kingdom and Canada and responsible for developing and implementing business plan strategy. He also spent nine years at Tishman Speyer in New York where he was the lead project director for multiple projects, including 200 West Street, Goldman Sachs’s New York headquarters; a deputy project director for the initial phase of Bloomberg’s London Headquarters development project; and the lead project manager for the renovation and re-opening of the original observation deck at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York. Having started his career as a structural engineer, Jim has a breadth of experience being the lead project director, engineer, and construction administrator for a multitude stadium, residential and commercial office projects.
Jim has numerous industry affiliations with groups such as The Council on Tall buildings and Urban Habitat, Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors, the National Fire Protection Association Hi-Rise Building Safety Committee, and the US Green Building Council.
Jim has a Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering from Lehigh University and Master of Science, Structural Engineering from Northeastern University. He resides in Connecticut.
