As the Head of Development Jamie Nelson leads GPT’s team in the procurement, acquisition, and delivery of market leading commercial developments across Australia’s major CBD and metropolitan office markets with a current development pipeline of over AUD$5 billion. With experience spanning over 25 years, Nelson has led substantial commercial and mixed use developments of over AUD$1 billion in scale, managing all aspects of the development process from acquisition to delivery, including feasibility, market analysis and site acquisition, finance, design, construction, marketing, and leasing. His property and development experience spans major CBD commercial towers, business parks, logistics, residential, and education. He works closely with the funds and investment management teams in order to set the development strategy and meet the portfolio’s long-term objectives.
