About
Jan Henckens completed his architectural studies at Aachen University in Germany and joined Nikken in 2005. In 2015 he was appointed General Manager of the Nikken Riyadh Branch which he headed until 2024. Since 2023 he heads the one of Nikken's Global Business Development teams, dealing with India, Middle East and ASEAN regions.
Mr. Henckens' is a forward-thinking design manager, whose career has involved him in a diverse range of projects encompassing research, commercial, financial, mixed-use, embassy and hospitality sectors, from inception to final delivery. He contributes strong communication skills and a highly collaborative approach, endeavoring for every project to benefits from the integration of external expertise and Nikken creativity, while customizing our value proposition to the client’s unique set of requirements.
He led the Nikken Riyadh Branch from 2015 thru 2024, in 2023 he was appointed to head the business development section for promoting acquisitions in the Middle East, India & SE Asia.
He is fluent in German, English and Japanese.
