About
Jared has 23 years structural engineering experience and has been heavily involved in the design of iconic buildings throughout New Zealand, the UK and Europe. He is Beca’s global seismic lead, a role focused on providing specialist seismic support to clients with projects round the world.
He has extensive experience working with some the world’s leading architectural practices on large scale, complex projects and brings his knack for problem solving to each of his projects. He relishes the opportunity to tackle complex challenges.
Jared was lead structural engineer for the Sporting d’Hiver mixed conference, commercial and residential development on Casino Square in Monaco, and led the structural design of the Intesa SanPaolo Tower auditorium in Turin. He was also lead structural engineer for the new Greek National Opera House in Athens and the seismic design of the National Library of Greece.
Over the last decade he has led the seismic assessment of numerous high-rise buildings and New Zealand, Australia, and internationally, and regularly provides advice to both commercial and institutional clients on building seismic risk mitigation.
