Jeffrey Heller, FAIA is president Heller Manus Architects. He founded the firm in 1984. Heller Manus Architects’ work is based in the US and Asia. Jeffrey’s experience covers a broad range of professional endeavors. He is a leader in the profession and the green movement with some of the first sustainable architecture and urban planning projects in the US and China. He is partner-in-charge of the first LEED Gold office towers in the sister cities of San Francisco and Shanghai, the first LEED Platinum neighborhood development master plan, and sustainable/livable master plans in China. His work in China often now involves land use regarding high speed rail and other transit-based principles.

Jeffrey serves on several boards, including the Bay Area Council, Asia Society, Green Growth Leaders’ Council (based in Copenhagen), CTBUH Leadership, China-SF Advisory Board, ULI Leadership Council, Past President of California Architects Board and AsiaSF, and the Bay Bridge Design Advisory Panel. Jeffrey is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
