About
After attaining a MSc degree in Mechancal Engineering at TU Delft Jochem Wit became a specialist in the field of logistics and accessibility of buildings through his years of experience in lift capacity and traffic handling studies. He combines extensive analysis and know-how with creativity with regard to lifts, escalators and façade maintenance equipment (FME). Jochem is specialized in lift capacity analyses, simulations and logistical studies for the optimal dimensioning of lift groups in high-rise buildings and otherwise complexly stacked buildings. Through extensive scenario study and fine tuning with the client and the architect, he defines the required logistical ‘aorta’ of the building. Jochem also consults in lift evacuation, having developed an evacuation model for combined use of lifts and stairs in high-rise buildings.
