Professor Linxue Li, PH.D is a supervisor at College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University, principal architect of ATELIER L+, director of CETA (Center for Energy & Thermodynamic Architecture) in TJAD, visiting scholar at Graduate School of Design Harvard University in 2014,and chairman of the special column in T+A.

He was selected by the Presidential Program “50 ARCHITECTES EN FRANCE” and studied in Ecole d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville in 2000. He is the responsible architect for many influential architectural projects such as Civic Center of Hangzhou which is 2013 Best Tall building Nominee Asia & Australasia Region CTBUH.

He was honored with “Young Architect Award” (2006) by Architectural Society of China, Shanghai Young Architect “Rookie Award” (2005), etc. He attended 40 UNDER 40 EXHIBITION in China (2004), 2010 Sino-France Architecture and Urban Development Forum (2005), Shanghai-Brussels ARCHITopia Forum(2007), Milan Triennal From Research to Practice (2012), Guest Professor of IUAV Workshop (2013), West Bund Biennial Shanghai(2013)、Bi-city Biennial of Urbanism/ architecture Shenzhen(2013)etc. He had the honor to become one of the excellent interpreters for contemporary Chinese architecture through his “NATURE BASED SYSTEM” architectural philosophy and practice. He is also an active promoter for high-rise building and thermodynamics architecture in the international pedagogical and research’s field.
