About
Mark has worked on a portfolio of projects at the leading edge of tall building engineering over the last 15 years, leading and developing teams in a variety of roles on more than 35 tall building projects, principally as lead structural engineer but including roles as: multi-disciplinary project design manager, FIDIC Engineer and peer reviewer, as well as numerous value engineering and tall building specialist roles.
His tall building experience includes seven “supertall” and three “megatall” buildings, with the 1000 meter tall Nakheel and Harbour Tall Tower being the tallest designed tower in his portfolio. He is recognized for his tall building expertise in the wider community, having been invited to contribute to tall building themed books, media articles and conferences.
As a tall building leader with Buro Happold based in their Dubai office, Mark is responsible for tall building multi-disciplinary strategy, including learning and development strategy, in line with broader Middle East discipline and overall learning and development strategy, in addition to the delivery of tall building projects.
