About
Massimiliano Morrone joined Unipol in 2012. He is responsible for Real Estate Asset, Investment & Technical Management and manages the Group real estate portfolio and development activities under the Urban Up brand at Unipol. Since 2012 he has been the managing director of the Unipol Group real estate SGR and he covers executive roles in the real estate companies within the Unipol Group, which formed through the merger of Unipol and Fondiaria Sai.
Morrone started his career in 1998, as a corporate finance analyst in Credit Agricole Indosuez, based in Paris, within the financial institutions group. He has operated in the real estate sector since 2003, as a risk manager and investment officer of Ge Capital Real Estate in Italy. Between 2008 and 2012 he worked for Aedes as director for investments and Ceo of Nova Re Spa, a listed company which transformed in one of the first Italian Reits.
He holds a degree in economics from Bocconi University in Milan and has served in the Assoimmobiliare board for many years.
