Matthew is a USA-licensed architect (AIA, NCARB) with almost two decades of international experience. His diverse career path combines a rich understanding of historical craftsmanship with a forward-looking passion for innovation.
His architectural journey began with projects in the Middle East and Spain, later expanding to dynamic global environments, including London, China, Sri Lanka, and now Dubai, where he has been based since 2022. Matthew has led design teams on high-profile projects across the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and China. Notable achievements include the design of the Six Senses Residences, a supertall residential tower in Dubai Marina and the Anchor, an iconic neighboring restaurant pavilion, both exemplifying his ability to blend bold concepts with meticulous execution. In addition to these, several other confidential Supertall towers are under development.
Matthew’s portfolio spans mixed-use developments, workplace environments, retail, hospitality, residential, cultural/civic spaces, and master planning. A passionate advocate for biophilic design, he seeks to incorporate the transformative power of nature into every project. Whether capturing restorative views, applying biomimetic principles, or creating harmonious internal spaces, his designs aim to evoke timeless elegance and meaningful connections between people and their environments.
