As the Design Director at atelierMIDE , Mide champions and ensures all projects meet the highest standards of wholistic and complete Design Excellence, one centered around innovation, rigor, and beauty.
He brings a unique design and project sector expertise to projects ranging from Campus Master planning, Corporate Commercial, Retail & Entertainment, Civic, Cultural, Science & Technology, plus healthcare. In his past work experience, Mide served as the first Design Director at Perkins&Will Houston, Senior design lead with international firms (RTKL, HOK and Gensler) on multiple award-winning projects globally. Mide also served as a lecturer at the University of Maryland, School of Architecture and visiting juror at Catholic University, Howard University, Morgan State University and Rice University. He served on the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Architects AIA | Washington DC.
