Milan Raskovic is a distinguished architect and urban planner with an impressive 23-year career primarily based in Serbia. Born in 1976 in Kruševac, he completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown. In 1995, he embarked on his academic journey at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Belgrade, successfully graduating in 2000 and earning the title of graduate engineer in architecture.
Following his graduation, Milan swiftly immersed himself in professional architectural practice. Since 2009, he has been consistently involved in the architecture studio, BUREAU CUBE PARTNERS, which he co-founded and where he holds a prominent position as a founding partner and CEO.
At BUREAU CUBE PARTNERS, Milan not only assumes the role of a founding partner but also serves as the CEO of the architectural studio. Under his guidance, a team of 50 graduate architectural engineers, each possessing diverse backgrounds and professional orientations, collaborate on a regular basis. This team is dispersed across various departments dedicated to architectural design, urban and spatial planning, design process management, and the execution of expert processes and design oversight.
In his illustrious architectural career, Milan and his team have contributed to numerous architectural projects spanning diverse typologies and purposes. These projects encompass cultural, educational, scientific, and sports facilities, as well as healthcare and social welfare infrastructure, residential and commercial buildings, and often extend to the realm of architectural heritage.
Beyond architectural projects, Milan's portfolio includes the development of Master Plans and various urban and spatial planning documents. He is also recognized for his theoretical contributions, evident in monographs, publications, expert recommendations, and guidance related to specific building types encountered in architectural practice.
In recent years, Milan has rekindled his academic pursuits by enrolling in doctoral studies, aligning them with his architectural practice. This endeavor involves a comprehensive exploration of architecture within a broader scientific context and an identical "PhD" academic format. His research focuses on methodological approaches to managing design processes, particularly under challenging conditions, thereby enhancing his scientific, professional, and practical research competences.
