Moshe Tzur
About
Moshe Tzur has been practicing architecture for approximately fifty years. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1948, he studied in the Technion’s Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, completing each year with highest honors. In 1978, on his 30th birthday, he established his own firm. In 1985, Tzur joined the Technion’s faculty, and taught there for years, as an Associate Professor. Over the years, he has designed over 1,000 projects, including Azrieli Sarona Tower, Midtown Tel Aviv, Azrieli Town Tower, Amot Atrium, and Harish, a new city. This in addition to hundreds of commercial, residential and public buildings.
Tzur has worked on projects in 31 countries, from Brazil to Thailand, and particularly in Europe, where he is considered a leading international architect. Tzur and his firm have had great success in pioneering projects for the integration of large-scale, multi-functional complexes within the urban fabric of Tel Aviv and other urban areas. Among the firm’s other noted achievements is the creation of environments that support technological and scientific innovation through the design of industrial and academic campuses. There are currently over 100 employees - architects, practical engineers and other professionals, working in two branches -Tel Aviv and Haifa. Moshe Tzur is responsible for establishing generations of Israel’s architects. Many of his projects have been published in books and professional journals. In addition, he has been awarded many national and international awards.
