About
Nuria Abad is an Associate at Thornton Tomasetti’s Chicago office. She has worked on a wide variety of projects and sectors, including education, performance centers, mixed-use and high-rise residential buildings across the United States and Europe. She works closely with the design team from conception to execution, being a strong advocate for the deeper integration of architecture and engineering. She is also actively engaged in Thornton Tomasetti’s sustainability efforts.
Nuria received her Bachelors and Masters in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), and her Masters in Structural Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology (USA).
