About
Oren Tamir is the Director of Community Planning in the Midtown and Downtown areas of the City of Toronto. In this role, he coordinates, assesses, and evaluates development applications, including Zoning By-law and Official Plan Amendments, Site Plans, and Condominium Applications. He has also led major planning studies and has been qualified as an expert in land use planning by the Ontario Land Tribunal. Alongside his professional work, Oren taught Land Use Planning Law at York University for nearly a decade, sharing his expertise with the next generation of planners.
