Peter Goff
About
Peter Goff is an Associate Director at Buro Happold. Since joining Buro Happold in 2009, Peter has worked on a range of prestigious projects across the world, specialising in projects where the facade poses complex technical, performance, material and buildability challenges. These have included residential and office developments, one-off cultural venues and transport hubs. Peter’s experience ranges from the early-stage conceptual design of facade systems to delivery of detailed design information for construction, to the ongoing monitoring of contractors’ final design, testing and execution of facades during the construction phase on behalf of clients and principal contractors.
Peter currently also leads the UK facade engineering team’s technical development in the field of fire performance within facades. This includes the development of internal training schemes for Buro Happold’s fire and facade engineers in how to consider fire performance within facade design, the development of internal design guidance and QA procedures, and performing independent technical reviews on projects. Peter has spoken at in a series of international conferences and webinars on the topic of fire and facades, and sits on the Society of Facade Engineers and CWCT Fire Committee.
