Phil Shumway began working with Lee Herzog when he joined Citadel Consulting in 2003. Phil began inspecting and testing fall protection and façade access equipment all over the United States but soon was designing and managing his own projects for the global market. He has been engaged on many iconic supertall towers such as the Burj Khalifa, One World Trade and Central Market Authority in Riyadh. In 2009, Phil began working for a façade equipment manufacturer, XSPlatforms (XSP). Phil was the President of the North American division of XSP for eight years before joining up with Lee Herzog again in 2018. Since 2018 he has taken over all project work including aspects of the Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia. Phil has extensive knowledge with all types of building maintenance units (BMUs), façade access equipment and fall protection systems, from design to hands on experience. Nothing beats experience.
