Rebecca Cheng
About
Rebecca has played a key role in the urbanization of 21st-century China. Her extensive involvement in the Huamu Lot 10-The Summit project during her tenure at KPF provided her with a comprehensive understanding of its design and development. Building on this experience, she now serves as Senior Adviser to the project, offering strategic guidance. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the delivery of tall buildings, academic campuses, and expansive urban plans during a period of profound urban transformation.
A licensed architect in Hong Kong and Mainland China (Class 1 Registered Architect qualification), Rebecca holds memberships in the HKIA and RIBA. Her leadership spans key roles such as serving on the ULI China Executive Committee for East China, contributing to regional planning, and participating in CTBUH Shanghai and AIA Shanghai to advance urban design dialogue. Within the China Architectural Society, she advocates for innovative urban solutions on the 3D Cities & Composite Buildings Committee, while supporting female professionals through the Shanghai Architectural Society’s Women in Design Committee. Rebecca advises on Fang An submission review as a Pudong New District Planning Bureau Expert and evaluated regional real estate excellence as a ULI Asia-Pacific Awards Jury Member (2019–2021).
