About
Remo Agostino has over 27 years of experience in professional planning and real estate development. Remo joined Daniels in 2003 after approximately 7 years with a private planning consulting firm, specializing in land use development. Remo is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Masters in Planning program, Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Member of the Urban Land Institute.
Remo is the Chief Development Officer at Daniels and oversees a dynamic team including the following divisions, Development, Design and Architecture, Sustainability and Social Impact. Remo analyzes land acquisition opportunities, strategizes and implements a development entitlement process, which engages a diverse range of public and private stakeholders. Since 2006, Remo has been a key member of Daniels’ team facilitating the development of a number of landmark communities in the GTA including Phases 1-3 of the Regent Park Revitalization. Remo has also participated in the City of Mississauga’s Housing Task Force, City of Toronto’s Private Sector Affordable Housing Roundtable, which produced the report “Housing Makes Economic Sense” and has received the Bild Chair’s of Award of Merit.
