Stan is an architect specializing in the design and delivery of high-performance buildings and specialty structures. He brings 30 years of experience to his role as Technical Director at RIOS. His approach balances design goals and performance in delivering technically sound and elegant enclosure design solutions. Stan fosters a culture of collaboration and exploration leveraging an intimate knowledge of materials, digital fabrication, and detail design.
He regularly engages the design community, and has served as a guest critic at SCI-ARC, UPENN, UCLA, and USC promoting discussions on high-performance building enclosures. Stan has previously led enclosure teams at architectural design and facades specific offices, where he has provided technical design oversight on award-winning projects across markets around the world.
