About
Dr Lamont has worked in the fire protection industry for 19 years in the UK, USA and Middle East. She is a chartered engineer and professional member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
Since joining Arup she has worked though all stages of design and construction on a diverse range of projects from large assembly buildings, hospitals, schools, shopping malls and offices to masterplans and transport hubs.
In addition to leading the development of the NFPA fire risk assessment tool EFFECT, Susan is currently working on delivery of Abu Dhabi International Airport Midfield Terminal Building.
