Timothy Winstanley, AIA, RIBA, is an award-winning architect and design leader who has guides some of the most complex and innovative architectural projects worldwide. With a career spanning landmark supertalls, cultural destinations, and groundbreaking immersive experience architecture, multiple World Expositions, Timothy brings a rare blend of creativity, technical expertise, and vision to every project.
He has led multidisciplinary teams in delivering transformative spaces that seamlessly merge storytelling, design, and technology — creating environments that captivate and connect people in meaningful ways. His portfolio includes pioneering immersive experiences that have redefined what architecture can achieve when narrative and place intersect including The Mukaab's Central Tower and Dome assets in Riyadh and Al Wasl Dome - centerpiece of Expo 2020 and Expo City in Dubai.
Beyond award-winning projects, he is passionate about mentoring the next generation of designers, championing context-driven and performance based solutions, and continuously pushing the boundaries of architectural innovation. He has also led the AIA Middle East Chapter as their 2024 President.
