Tom French
About
Tom French, Longfellow Real Estate Partners, Development, Design and Construction Director UK. I’ve been in real estate since 2001.
I oversee the development and delivery of schemes for Longfellow within the UK. Longfellow is the largest privately owned investment manager, developer and operator of life science real estate in the world. They opened the UK office in 2021 and are building a portfolio starting with the first acquisition at Capital Park, Cambridge. My role is to lead the firm’s development activities in the UK, collaborating closely within the Longfellow group to oversee conversions, developments, and redevelopments to deliver thoughtful and sustainable, best-in-class R&D space and amenities.
In my previous role at EDGE I was responsible for overseeing the development of their two London schemes which included EDGE London Bridge, a 26 story office scheme adjacent to The Shard.
During my time at Derwent London I was responsible for the delivery of 80 Charlotte Street, a mixed-use scheme which included offices, residential space (including affordable housing), retail and a new public realm park. It was one of the largest and more complex schemes Derwent has ever delivered and has recently won a number of awards - testament to the strong team.
