About
Ms. Xue Mei holds an MBA from Macau University of Science and Technology. She is also a Certified Manager of Commercial Properties International (CMCPI), an international professional certification in commercial real estate management.
Mei brings nearly three decades of experience in the real estate industry, with a portfolio spanning the full cycle of development and operations for complex, large-scale projects. Since 2006, she has been a core member of the Shanghai Tower project’s preparatory team, deeply involved in its planning, design coordination, construction, and ongoing operations. Today, she serves as General Manager of Shanghai Tower Business Operation and Management Co., Ltd., where she has been instrumental in advancing the Tower’s brand value and social influence as one of Shanghai’s defining landmarks.
Over nearly two decades with Shanghai Tower, Mei has devoted her full passion and expertise to realizing the project’s vision. Drawing on her management experience, she successfully guided the integration of multiple business formats—including commercial, office, tourism, and convention operations—which contributed to Shanghai Tower receiving the BOMA Global Innovation Award.
In her leadership role, Mei has consistently championed the development of Shanghai Tower as a vibrant “vertical city” defined by green, intelligent, and cultural values. She has explored innovative ways to integrate cultural branding with diversified commercial operations, promoting high-quality development and strengthening organizational performance. She is also recognized as a thought leader in the sustainable development of commercial real estate, helping to drive transformative approaches across the industry. Her achievements have been recognized with honors such as the title of “March 8th Red Banner Holder” and “Outstanding Builder” in Shanghai’s Key Project Achievement Competition.
Mei’s international engagement reflects her commitment to professional excellence and knowledge exchange. Since 2018, she has actively participated in BOMA’s international standards training and forums, and she also contributed to the BOMA COE certification assessment for Shanghai Tower’s asset operations and management. She looks forward to strengthening global collaboration on sustainable operations and advancing culture, community, and business integration in tall buildings.
