About
Dr. Yalçın Eyigün is the General Manger of Infrasturcture Investments for the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Istanbul. He graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University in 1995 and received his master's degree and doctorate from the same university. He has over 25 years of experience starting as the manager, deputy manager and the control engineer in charge of Rail System Project and Construction Affairs at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Rail System Directorate from 1997 to 2012. After, he served as the Deputy General Manager of General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments (GDII) of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication. During his term of office at GDII, he held various positions such as Urban Rail System and Outline Railway Projects Survey and Construction Works Sector Supervisor, Eurasia Road Crossing Project Supervisor, Marmaray Construction Activities.
Dr. Eyigün has lecturered for the Transportation Engineering Department of Yalova University and during the2018-2019 academic year, he was an assistant professor at the Civil Engineering Department of Istanbul Ticaret University.
