About
Yusuf has 30+ years of working experience, with seven (7) years in Japan on the design of various structural projects related to earthquake risk. He has extensive experience in high-performance earthquake engineering and the design of energy dissipated critical structures including tall buildings, base-isolated hospitals, data centers, coastal and marine structures, and retrofitting with innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Yusuf holds a master of science degree in structural engineering and is a member of the Japan and American Society of Civil Engineers (JSCA & ASCE), Japan Society of Seismic Isolation (JSSI), International Association for Bridges & Structures (IABSE) and Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI). His native language is Turkish and fluent in Japanese, French, and English.
